A virtual study-abroad experience in your pocket
Language Learning App
This app is for people who want to learn an additional language. The reason I wanted to create it is that, as someone learning English as a second language, I wanted an app that allows people to practice a language even if they are not in a country where it is spoken. Fortunately, I was able to learn languages while living in Hawaii, but many people stay in their own country. In those cases, this app lets users experience real conversations, such as visiting a store or talking with animals on the island, to make language practice more interactive and realistic.

Challenge
The challenging part for me in making this app was developing it while considering what users want.Thinking from the users' perspective helped me understand what was needed, so I had to update the app repeatedly.

If you place your phone in front of you while practicing, it feels more like a real conversation. There is a time to set your phone in position.
Speak With Character In The City And Experience Real-life Conversation
After the character finishes speaking, it will switch to your turn and start recording your voice. You can choose to practice with a template or without one, and at the end you can check your score and review your performance.
